There is only windows XP drivers available for V4000 model in HP support site. There is a method to install the drivers called have disk method by using original windows XP drivers. Some certain drivers such as intel pro wireless driver windows vista drivers will install in windows 7. For graphic there are 2 drivers which Intel and ati drivers. You must choose base on your specification.

If you want to install latest drivers, you can find it on the Intel download center website and serach for Intel 3,4,5 and 900 chipset
Audio:
There are 2 drivers, both are for similar device (compatible with all V4000 model) but it is preferable to use latest drivers . The first drivers mostly use with Compaq presario V4200 and below while 2nd version use with Compaq Presario V4201 and above.

Download and install the drivers, ignore if the installation failed:
1. Open device manager by click start and type DEVMGMT.MSC on the search box.
2. Under Sound, video and game controller, you will have audio marked with yellow such as "High definition audio bus" listed.
3. Right click on it and select update driver.
4. Select "Browse My computer for Driver software".
5. Select "let me pick from a list of device drivers from my computer".
6. Click 'Have Disk" and click "Browse"
7. Point to "c:\swsetup\sp34210\SMAXWDM\W2K_XP\ select smwdmCH6.inf
8. Click Open, - OK then continue with on-screen instruction until installation finsih.

2. Under graphic adapater, you will have Standard VGA listed.
3. Right click on standard VGA and select update driver.
4. Select "Browse My computer for Driver software".
5. Select "let me pick from a list of device drivers from my computer".
6. Click 'Have Disk" and click "Browse"
7. Point to "c:\swsetup\sp31430\driver\2kxp_inf\ select CX_26697.inf or C2_26697.inf
8. Click Open, - OK then continue with on-screen instruction until installation finsih.
