HP Compaq nc6400 Windows 7 Drivers

HP Compaq nc6400 originally released for Windows Vista. If you want to upgrade into Windows 7, do consider to use Windows 7 SP1 instead of Windows 7 and run automatic updates to get the latest update for your hardware and drivers. So, a user reported he installed Windows 7 64-bit enterprise and there are 2 drivers missing.

1. Mass Storage Controller
Hardware ID : PCI\VEN_104C&DEV_803B&SUBSYS_30AD103C&REV_00

2. PCI Simple Communication Controller
Hardware ID : PCI\VEN_104C&DEV_803D&SUBSYS_30AD103C&REV_00

Both ID's refer to Texas Instrument Card Reader Driver. You just need to install the original Vista drivers below and it will install both mass storage and PCI comm as mentioned above.
